In 1999 Mike Murphy, Mike Mitchell and Paul Mauer decided to create a Wild West game that they would want to play with their friends. In 2005 they released GUTSHOT and won the Origins Award for "Historical Miniatures Game of the Year." Hawgleg Publishing continues to support GUTSHOT and work on create new games.
